The Maps of Emil Fischer

The exquisitely detailed and colorful maps of the San Juan Mountains in southwestern Colorado are described in the 2014 paper “Emil Fischer, Guide to the San Juan Mines,” by Larry Godwin.  Their large size made them difficult to display in The Mining History Journal.  Several of Fischer’s maps may be viewed in a larger format by clicking on the titles below.  (Courtesy Larry Godwin)
